Refund & Returns Policy

Welcome to The Jelly Corner. We specialize in authentic, rare, retired, collectible, and custom Jellycat plush. As many of our products are limited edition or one-of-a-kind collectibles, please read our Refund & Returns Policy carefully before making a purchase.

Returns

European Union Customers

If you are purchasing as a consumer within the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving your order under the Consumer Rights Directive (Directive 2011/83/EU).

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us within the 14-day period by contacting us at:

Once your return request has been approved, the item must be shipped back within 14 days of notifying us.

Returned items must:

  • Be unused and in the same condition as received.
  • Include all original tags, labels, packaging, and accessories.
  • Be free from damage, odors, stains, pet hair, or alterations.
  • Be securely packaged for return shipping.

Unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or receiving proof that they have been shipped back, whichever occurs first.


United Kingdom Customers

If you are purchasing as a consumer in the United Kingdom, you have similar cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

You may cancel your order within 14 calendar days of receiving your goods.

Returned items must meet the same conditions listed above. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method after the returned item has been inspected.

Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item is faulty or we made an error with the order.

Customers Outside the European Union & United Kingdom

For customers located outside the European Union and the United Kingdom, returns may be accepted at The Jelly Corner’s sole discretion within 14 days of the delivery date for eligible items.

Approved returns are eligible for store credit only. The value of the store credit will be the purchase price of the returned item, less any customs duties, import fees, taxes, brokerage fees, shipping charges, or other costs incurred by The Jelly Corner as a result of the return.

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • Unused and in their original condition.
  • Returned with all original tags, labels, and packaging intact.
  • Free from damage, odors, stains, or alterations.

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the item was received damaged, defective, or we shipped the incorrect item.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or refunded unless required by applicable law:

  • Custom-made or personalized items
  • Commissioned plush or custom creations
  • Made-to-order products
  • Gift cards
  • Digital products or downloadable content
  • Items marked as Final Sale
  • Products that have been used, washed, altered, or damaged after delivery

Custom Items

All custom-made and personalized items are Final Sale.

Because these products are created specifically for each customer, they cannot be cancelled, returned, exchanged, or refunded once production has begun, except where required by law or if the item arrives damaged or defective.

This exclusion is permitted under Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU, which exempts goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized from the standard 14-day withdrawal right. Similar exemptions apply under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.


Damaged, Incorrect or Defective Items

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.

If your item arrives:

  • Damaged during shipping
  • Defective
  • Incorrect
  • Missing parts

please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Include:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photographs of the item, packaging, and shipping label

We will work with you to provide an appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement, repair, store credit, or refund where applicable.


Authenticity & Condition

Many of our products are retired, vintage, or collectible plush.

Each listing includes a detailed description and photographs showing the item’s condition.

Minor wear consistent with age or use—including tag fading, slight fabric variation, or collector wear—is considered part of the item’s disclosed condition and is not considered a manufacturing defect.


Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.

If you wish to purchase another item, please complete a new order after your return has been approved (where applicable).


Refund Method

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for purchase.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless required by law or if the return results from our error.

Any customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, or similar charges paid by the customer are non-refundable.


Refused Deliveries

Orders refused by the customer or returned due to an incorrect shipping address provided by the customer may be subject to:

  • Return shipping charges
  • Original shipping costs
  • Customs charges incurred
  • Restocking fees where permitted by law

Any remaining balance will be refunded once the package has been returned to us.
